Monday, during the second meeting of the White House Religious Liberty Commission, President Trump spoke before the Museum of the Bible highlighting several stories of abuse against Christians by the Biden administration. While the handful of stories selected for the speech were compelling, the report which highlights the various abuses is more revealing as to how endemic the abuse was in several federal departments.

While the arrest of pro-lifers attempting to save children only received an honorable mention during the president’s speech the report does offer a few more details of the imbalanced and unjust application of the FACE Act.
Weaponized Prosecutions
The Department of Justice (DOJ) arrested and convicted approximately two dozen individuals under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act for praying and demonstrating outside abortion facilities. Yet, the same DOJ refused to apply the FACE Act to protect places of worship and crisis pregnancy centers.
To be clear the issue here is not that the FACE Act was unjustly applied. The issue is that it was applied illegally with the intent to deprive Pro-life Christian’s of two important benefits. First, it denied them the protection of the law. Christian ministry has been going at abortion clinics for three decades under the FACE Act and the law provided a frame work for both Pro-life and abortion advocates who operated within its bounds. Secondly, the intent of this prosecution was to intimidate pro-lifers from exercising their civil liberties and performing their Christian duty to minister to the helpless and needy, namely the orphan and the widows.
This case has never been about the merits of the FACE Act. That is another discussion for another day. This case has been about the abuse of the FACE Act as a tool of persecution and intimidation.
In the next section, our video served as the first witness testimony heard by the task force back in April.
Witness Testimony
Prior to this meeting, Task Force members conducted initial reviews of their respective agencies to identify any unlawful anti-Christian policies, practices, or agency conduct during the prior Administration.
At the meeting, Task Force members reported these initial findings from their agencies. Members also heard from witnesses about their experiences with anti-Christian bias.
These first-hand accounts began with a video highlighting the story of Mr. Paul Vaughn, who was arrested at gunpoint at his family home and in front of his wife and children for praying and singing outside of an abortion facility. Mr. Vaughn was tried and convicted by the Biden-Garland DOJ under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, on an unprecedented and untested theory. President Trump later pardoned Mr. Vaughn along with nearly two dozen other victims of the Biden-Garland DOJ’s weaponization of the FACE Act against peaceful, pro-life demonstrators.
Note the phrase, “unprecedented and untested theory”. Because this illegal use of the conspiracy law was not allowed to process through the courts, it is still an “untested theory” that was used very effectively against Christians. It remains a powerful weapon to be used in the future if the FACE Act is not repealed.
I shared the video referenced previously in this article if you would like to see what the department heads view during the initial meeting:
President Trump continued with the accomplishments of both the White House Religious Liberty Commission and the Anti-Christian Bias Task Force. The full speech can be viewed below. The summary is there have been a lot of concerted efforts to silence and persecute Christians, even if the persecution is still mild in our current stage of civil failure. My concern remains the same. This season of peace will come to an end and the next swing to the left will not be so kind as the last one. May God have mercy on our nation and may we as God’s people labor with an eternal vigilance to prepare for the times to come. May we be faithful today, so that our children can stand in the future. May they stand upon our shoulders, may they stand against tyranny, and may they stand for truth.
